Frodo is a 13 yr old Black NZ TB gelding who was born in New Zealand.  Before Laine bought him, he had starred in the blockbuster "The Lord of the Rings" in the first film as one of the Dark Rider's mounts.  Only when he flew across the pond did he begin his eventing career with Laine.  In 2007, Frodo's highlights were placing 7th internationally  and 4th nationally at the prestigious Fairhill CCI***.  Shortly thereafter, both he and Laine were named to the USEF shortlist for the 2008 Equestrian Olympics held in Hong Kong, China.  Laine hopes to take Frodo to Rolex and finish in good standing to grasp a spoton the US Olympic Team.

Alex is a 9 year old Bay TB gelding who came from the Charlestown race track in West Virginia. His 2007 career accomplishments are vast beginning with a 6th place finish at Red Hills CIC**. Additionally, Alex and Laine were one of two Americans to be sent to the Olympic Venue in Hong Kong to compete in the test event. When Alex returned home, he and Laine finished off the competition year with a 6th place at the Ocala CCI**. Because of his good form this year, Alex and Laine have been named to the USEF Developing Riders List for 2008. Laine hopes to move Alex up successfully at the advanced level and finish off the spring season with a good standing at Jersey Fresh CCI***.

Seajack is a 6 year old Chestnut NZ TB gelding who was the first of the homebreds of Crow's Ear Farm.  In 2007 he placed successfully at the training level finishing off his season with a 9th place at the Area 2 Championships at Five Points HT.  Laine hopes to move Seajack up to prelim in the beginning of the year and finish off the spring season with a good standing at the Ocala CCI*.
